Once a management problem translated into a research problem, then you can find a solution. In this case, Infinite is a new car company, and not everyone knows about this company. They might experience the problems with their sales revenue, therefore Infinite needs to examine expecta tions and experiences of several groups such as potential customers, first time buyers and repeat purchases.Infinite need to determine lack of sales due to: Poor expectations that lead to lack of desire to buy because customers were not satisfied with the reduce, so they decided to not purchasing it anymore. Organizational Behavior Research Paper Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words
Organizational Behavior - Research Paper Example Therefore, only the rich could afford such a luxury. Ford set out to make an affordable car so as to target the middle class population. Also, the carââ¬â¢s flexible suspension system helped it to run better on the bad roads in the U.S at the time. Besides its 20-horse power engine, the car was lighter than most of the previous models. Through these additions, Henry Ford started the journey to change the status of the automobile from that of a luxury to necessity (Dodge & Casey, 2010). Some of Fords greatest achievements in my view are those not afforded due public attention. Given the difference in the state of pollution that time and now, it is critical to examine environmental saving strategies conscious or otherwise. In 1940, Ford produced a car whose body was plastic, to a large extent. This plastic, made from soy meal whose 50% protein content linked with formaldehyde, was light, and biodegradable. The car only got to prototype stage because of its biodegradable nature (Moon ey, 2009). Fordism: Henry Ford receives credit for pioneering and efficiently practicing Fordism ergo making this concept his third most noted achievement. This idea originally encompassed timely and efficient mass production of vehicle parts. Mass assembly is now applicable to other industries such as pharmaceutical production and food processing. Granted, Ford did not himself invent the conveyor belt system but his contribution stands out among the industrialist who saw this idea through. Mass production of affordable cars changed the American transport system to a considerable extent. Fordism saw Ford increase the wages of his employees by a whooping 50%. Also, this concept formed the basis for most of the decisions he made for the company. Leadership: Based on the concept of Fordism, Henry ford is a true leader. Field Marshal Slim clearly distinguishes management from leadership. He indicates that leadership encompasses personality and vision in which case he alludes to, people focus, innovation, personal power and influence. People focus: production of inexpensive or affordable goods was part of his consumer employee attitude. He was of the view that the customerââ¬â¢s needs are vital; therefore, he produced affordable cars that met the needs of the customers. His emphasis on satisfying the customer and the worker rather than gain profits is an excellent instant of people focus. Ford was an idealist to this he relates that this is the only way to get people, referring to his workers, to be prosperous. His view of employees was different given the period. In his opinion, employees were also customers in which case the affordability of the cars enabled them to not only purchase but also market the car. Fords focus on the employee as an asset develops from his opinion of reward and in this case monetary reward. Through welfare capitalism, Ford was able to abet labour turnover in his industries. He christened this policy, profit sharing (a tactic employed by managers in recent times to motivate employees). He is also among the first employers who successfully applied shift working, thereby, reducing the number of working hours of employees by close to half. Innovation: the trait of innovation stands out in Fords success for instance, in the Model T and subsequent automobiles such as the plastic car. Personal power and influence: Ford gave up his official, executive title early but

The Comparisons and Contrasts of the Operations Value Chains in Manage Assignment
The Comparisons and Contrasts of the Operations Value Chains in Management of Bicycles - Assignment Example Extreme damages warrant the disposal of such bikes in the low- cost student rental business. On the other hand, for the high-cost rental services, there is the wide range of bicycles to rent suiting the required preferences and that are in good conditions. Those who rent the bikes are cautious in maintaining them. Briefly, the business procedure undergone while maintaining a bicycle in both business packages is straightforward. The low- cost student rental business has maintenance initiated only when a customer objects to a certain fault whereas the bicycle would have been left for okay. The high- cost rental business ensures that bicycle maintenance is on a checklist and that this is done once every bicycle is returned before releasing it to the next customer. ` Both businesses have their process of acquiring their bicycles. Generally, there is a distinct difference. The low- cost rental business lend their bicycles at cheap prices as they also acquired them at considerably low prices as compared to the high- cost rental business who purchase new and from recognized bicycle manufacturer brands. Disposal is inescapable for both options, the low- cost student rental business rarely disposes of their bicycles unless they are totally faulty unlike their counterparts in the high- cost rental business whole sell them once the onset of tear and wear is unbearable and this way they continue to offer only the best of services. E) What roles do you see for information systems in your answers to the earlier questions? The information systems can be those you develop within your company or they can be those developed by others, such as Craigââ¬â¢s List. Introducing information systems for the low- cost student rental business would be relatively easier as it would only require and most probably an index card mapped to each bicycle in their inventory. However, the high- cost rental business is certain to be more sophisticated holding the entire documentation of each bicycleââ¬â¢s maintenance or acquisition records.à Ã

We are aware that new technologies are emerging as a result of innovation that is in various parts of the world. Overcoming the Financial Challenge of Going to College Essay
Overcoming the Financial Challenge of Going to College - Essay Example This finding is due to the fact that the average cost of a college education is around $23,000 per annum and that meant a lot of money for many Americans especially that the economy is still reeling from the financial crisis (Reuters). Many opted and forced to work than pursue a college degree because they simply cannot afford it and thus drop out rate in the United States continue to rise. This case of students dropping out due to financial difficulty is not isolated. This is so pervasive that it can be said that the drop out figure in college in the US is already alarming to the point that it could already undermine the countryââ¬â¢s competitiveness. In a study conducted by Harvard with data from Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, United States has the highest dropout rate in the industrialized world. Among the 18 countries surveyed, United States lagged last with a drop out rate of 46 percent. This figure is very far from Japan which has a huge 89 percent gr aduation rate and former Soviet states such as Slovakia with 63 percent and Poland with 61 percent (Reuters). These figures are considered alarming because drop out rates are increasing in an inversely proportional manner to what is required in the workforce in the near future. Instead of increasing the graduation rate as it is projected that 59 % of jobs will already require a college degree by 2018, it is the drop out rate that is increasing with the country having the graduation rate of 38.3 percent (Oââ¬â¢Connor). It seems that jobs in the future especially the high paying ones will not be filled by Americans especially with what the current unemployment statistics show that people without a college degree has twice the chance to be unemployed. In the state of Florida, the figure is also equally startling. Oââ¬â¢Connor reported that the State is not producing enough college graduates who would fill up future job market demand. It is even below the already national low nati onal gradation rate of 38.3 percent, graduating only 36.5 percent of its enrollees. This same issue was highlighted was Dr. Eduardo J. Padron, President of Miami Dade where he is not pleased with the graduation rate of those who are college ready registering only a 39% graduation rate. He stressed that given this not so pleasing figures, the focus to complete college today ââ¬Å"is very intense and urgentâ⬠ââ¬â ââ¬Å"to have a standards and practice from outside the College, or to define completion from within; to define it by our successâ⬠(Padron). This concern of Dr. Padron about ââ¬Å"Standards and practice from outside the College, or to define completion from within; to define it by our successâ⬠was about the quality of education that students receive in schools and their appropriateness in real world setting. The problem about low graduation is further beset by this issue because it implies that the already low graduates in the United States does not s atisfy the quantity and quality of what is needed in the workforce. The current educational system of the United States has been widely critique as not grounded on the realities on the workplace as do not teaching the students how to succeed and become financially independent (Kiyosaki). So the actual problem of the educational system in the US is not only confined to low rate of graduates but also the quality of its graduates. Dr.
You can choose the topic you want Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1000 words
You can choose the topic you want - Essay Example stence is all about hope and since the dawn of human civilization on this planet, almost all the major religions of the world have either believed in or alluded to rebirth in one form or other. The early Christians do believed in rebirth and life after death and they carried on with this belief until the Middle Ages. The records of many important and influential church fathers like Origen establish beyond doubt that they believed in rebirth and reincarnation. Yet, by the advent of Renaissance, the Christianity dropped the beliefs about reincarnation from its doctrines and rituals. However, two major world religions that are Hinduism and Buddhism regard rebirth and reincarnation to be an essential part of their creed. Though there are many similarities between the Hindu and Buddhist theologies about rebirth, yet there also exist many marked differences between the way the two religions tend to elaborate on the concept and mechanism of rebirth. The fundamental similarity between the Hinduism and the Buddhist beliefs about life after death is that both of them believe in reincarnation or rebirth. Both Hinduism and Buddhism believe that death is not the end of life, but the extension of life into a second life that is a life after death. Thus, there exists nothing as death and the human beings continue to live after death by taking a second birth after death as some other personality, individual or life form. The Hindus believe that eventual goal of the human existence is to merge with the Brahma or the Supreme Being or God and before the attainment of this state; the human beings continue to pass on from one birth to other, from one state of existence to other and experience many births and deaths. As per Hinduism, every individual has to bear with countless and many experiences and has to live many lives before becoming one with the Divine. According to Buddhism, the eventual goal of human consciousness to attain Nirvana o r enlightenment and on its way to Nirvana,
